This week brough news of the new generation of Slatwall panels to be available to UK suppliers by christmas 2012. Still the same thickness at 18mm but made using swedish frost hardened high density panels the difference to customers is astonishing. Product weight bearing is trebled & along with the slatted panels themselves comes a range of inserts already fitted to rid customers and Shopfitters throughout the UK the hassle of having to fit slatwall inserts in afterwards.
Also for over 30 years customers buying slatwall have been limited with the range of finishes & colours available. Things are about to change, from February 2013 we hope to bring out a newly tested product called `ecosilk` coating which allows customers to choose from over 350 finishes and can be self applied with no mess or waste. Buyers simply choose from a new RAL colour ref chart & we supply the kit to apply. When tested we managed to apply coating to 15 slatwall panels in less than half an hour. Better still the cost equates to the same as a standard woodgrain finish slat panel.
