Happy 2019 – The Year of Bespoke Joinery or Exhibition Stands?

After a quiet end to last year what a beginning to 2019 with our joiners working around the clock in making shop counters and bespoke display units. We have never seen such a start in all these years. Garden centres are notoriously busy this time of year making all those seasonal changes but this seems to be all sectors placing orders for made to specification display stands. Greeting card units, shop shelving and slatwall gondolas continue to be popular but its certainly an interesting start to year. Next week is also Spring fair at Birmingham NEC so we are busy arranging install and supplying their sometimes and growingly complex exhibition stands, our fitters most exhausting time of year I am often informed. So my gut feeling is with Retail and high street shops still struggling to compete with the internet pop up shops and exhibitions are going to be seen and used more frequently so heres hoping for a varied and prosperous new year to everyone.
